The Lauro Golf Resort is ideally situated in the foothills of the Sierra de Mijas overlooking the Guadalahorce Valley. Lauro Golf is convieniently placed midway between the towns of Alhaurin de la Torre and Alhaurin el Grande (both about 5km away) in the Province of Malaga Spain.
We have a 1 bedroom, spacious apartment on the Golf Course available for letting and in addition through other property owners we can offer a variety of properties for letting, including 1 and 2 bedroom apartments, townhouses of various sizes from 2 bedroom to 4 bedroom. Larger parties can be accommodated utilising numerous properties.
Lauro Golf is about 25 minutes from Malaga Airport by road and provides a peaceful location away from the coast with a communal Swimming Pool, Padel Tennis courts and the first Inland Bowling Green on the Costa Del Sol. The Golf Course at Lauro consists of 27 holes. The original course was designed by Folco Nardi with the additional 9 holes being designed by Mariano Benitez. The Clubhouse is an Andalucian Cortijo with an old Coutyard where you can relax after playing.
Food and Drink can be purchased both in the Clubhouse (no need for membership) and at Bar la Risa. The busy towns of Alhaurin de la Torre and Alhaurin el Grande have all the facilities such as banks, shops supermarkets, a variety of international restaurants and a plentiful supply of bars.

Many of our clients have returned for further visits as they enjoy the golf, or if not golfers, enjoy their holidays here. Many other golf courses in the area are within easy reach of Lauro Golf.
Lauro Golf is an excellent base for exploring Andalucia and the Costa del Sol with many attractions and beautiful scenery throughout the area and of course the good weather and plentiful sunshine.
The Bridge at Rhonda over the Gorge The Gorge at El Chorro
Perhaps a visit to Rhonda where the you can visit the oldest bullring in Spain and see the Magnificent Bridge over the Gorge, or maybe a visit to the Andalucian Lake district and the gorge at El Chorro.
Alternatively the coastal resorts of Torremolinos, Benelmadena and Fuengirola are but half an hours drive away. The up market resorts of Marbella and Puerto Banus are 40 to 45 minutes drive where you can sit in Orange Square and enjoy a drink or meal or view the expensive yachts and powerboats in the Marina at Puerto Banus.
